jumping the gun a little bit here. it's only been running a couple of days. pretty soon they will up the server cap and reduce queue times, things will balance out, the rush will die down. WoW had queues on launch too, and now i haven't seen a single one in almost 7 years.
 
TimBrad, what's up with your Consular? I'm tempted to switch to Knight if the Consular is pretty much the healing class in instances / PvP. I want to play a WoW-esc Mage, not a Priest.

Doubt you'll be saying that when you hit a 2 hour queue, followed by a time out, followed by a 2 hour queue, followed by a disconnect. Rinse and repeat.

It's one thing knowing you don't have any access yet, it's another entirely knowing you CAN play the game but have to queue.

They need to sort the queuing system out, give some sort of grace period in case something goes wrong.
 
why not just test some other classes out on other servers whilst there are these big queues? Thats my plan anyway.

Im sure it will get better in a few days...

Problem being the majority of the EU servers are queuing.

But I did actually do exactly that, rolled a toon on the Ravager. Loads of pesky Ruskies.

The main problem with what I find is that its neither mage or rogue like, you have some good close up dps, but most of your ranged is limited to 10M, at least where I am it is.

I'll probably stick it out over time, but try out the true ranged & melee classes first.

I'm assuming only healer trees for each class have other person/in combat heals, probably a very stupid question given that classes are balanced outside of specialisations, but just checking!

Sage gets a 30M boost if you go that AC though... the Shadow is melee based if you go that route

I am loving my Sage :D - she is awesome

I'm going on now, i'll add you.

That's the main problem. I really want to use a lightsaber, so that puts anything other than a Knight / Consular out of the question. Is a Knight just a tank?

Trust me i won,t ave waited 4 days of F5ing now i get to login into it and make my name and join my guild so 2 hours of waiting in the que will be fine:cool:
