Scanning software

Is there any software available that can access my scanner and take scans? The software that came with the scanner is useless so hoping there is an alternate out there.

One that remembered pre set quality and file types etc would be even better.

Sorry, didnt think it would matter. Its a Samsung SCX-4825FN

This functionality is built into Windows. Search Camera and Scanners wizzard and you'll see what I mean.
