What with it's high priests in white rob...uh...lab coats and it's doctrine of abiogenesis as a base presupposition. It meets all the criteria.

No one has really ever seen it happen yet you must believe it.

There is no real evidence that it ever took place.

And...

If you disagree you are a "against ALL science" "flat earther" and all sorts of other things.

And people get real angry when you tell them that evolution did not happen.

All signs of a good religion.

So buckle your seat belts ladies and gentlemen this one could get rough.

Meh, how sure are you that the sun will rise tomorrow?

How sure is "religious believer X" that God makes the sun rise?

Don't try and deny that some have a blind faith in science - it's impossible to defend, because many DO have a blind faith in it. They don't know the facts, evidence, nor even the methods of testing, but because it's "SCIENCE!!2" it "must be true!"

Now swap "SCIENCE!!2" with "Religion". Pot, black, etc.

Colloquially, yes, but in scientific terms it's a theory. Like mavity.

Bhavv, are you still feeling vitriolic about being so vigorously ridiculed in the last religion thread? Does the embarassment smart that much?

No, I simply checked on a religion forum and posted the funniest lol that I could find.
