Everyone says they love it but it annoys me. In a garage bedroom conversion that's just had a membrane and laminate flooring with a proper good underlay put in and all i can smell is a faint bit of rubberyness/newness. How long will it take to air out? I'd leave the windows open for a few days if it wasn't so ****ing cold.

New books/paper, bread being made, and I like the smell of petrol but that is not really a "new" smell. :p

In the states.. in a lot of new builds for houses, the use so much glue in the joists/walls etc, that they have to fit fans to the houses to extract the toxic fumes. I hate that smell just thinking about it.

I hate the old school diesel smell (when you first turn on). Makes me want to vomit.

2 week old milk - went home at uni, told my other housemates to help themselves to my stuff as I was home for Easter, I told them if they don't use the Milk to throw it out, they didn't. Came back after 2 weeks off to find, what looked like icecream in the milk container, opened it........

Now that I think about it, maybe I should have made one of them drink it
