Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

It sounds as though they've gone for the sound of the Pavelows mounted 50 cal Brownings in MW rather than it's mini guns.

Having 10 slots of starting rubbish was not nice yesterday and it seemed everyone I was playing against had a better connection to Alrik than me. K/D was just falling all night when it had been recovering nicely on the new patch.

I would like to have another go at Drop Zone with all the gear. I think you really need a combo of players with Trophys and the odd one or two with EMP grenades to counter the same tactics. Players should come out of the drop zone as their Trophy gets used up to be replaced by respawners where possible.

LMGs should be weapon of choice for holding the drop zone but they're so poor at range as Alrik said they need a buff. I was doing ok when the DZ was in the car park near the fountain on Resistance, but once it moved out of there I was getting screwed. A P90 should not of been a better choice, but it would have been had I had one. SitRep and a Stinger was something else I could have used.

Frame rate seems to be a bit of an issue in the drop/spam zone too.

I'm getting tired of the theatre mode publish re-editing my clips this is the third version of this. I had to add more time to the start and second segment and cut the start padding down in YT editor.


I noticed a lot of Blast Shield after that :p

we are bringing tubing back! officially, camp and you get tubed! hilarious the amount of abuse you get from these American idiots who camp for the whole round, they camp round a corner, solution? tube just next to the corner and that is one angry camper...! also been tea bagging campers on our team, which is rather amusing as well, people need to just stop camping all the time!

also what the hell, they have replaced all the hardcore modes with stupid ricochet mode, at least in Modern Warfare II it was an optional game mode, but they've force the option on us this time round! so can no longer kill my team-mates for being camping scum bags, where is the justice in that...? :rolleyes:
 
For some reason i've gone from averaging games with around 15kills - 10 deaths (ish) to now having 1kill - 20 deaths....WTF :eek:
 
Have to say since the latest patch I'm starting to enjoy this game. The enemy actually die when I point my gun at them which just didn't happen before.
Same. My KD went up 0.8 to 1.38 in just a few hours last night with the new patch, and WL up 2.3. Still no where near the 1.82 I was at in BO though :(

I was surprised to be honest as I thought the removal of the lag compensation would hurt me on my relatively crap 2M/512K connection.

Chasing spawns and loosing is all that happens in that game mode especially on the larger maps, that team we played against felt at home and was easily wining due to that every single one of them had terrible W/L and negative KDR's yet because we were the ones having to traverse the map from one end to the other and all they had to do was spawn 10' away from it and launch a stupid JAV every 10 seconds.

Skill to win that mode? nope just be crap at the game and win every time.

Drop zone is flawed due to the fact that to win you shouldn't shoot anyone as the game mode is designed to spawn players on top of the zone, which is why we couldn't win. Rinse the enemy and all that happens is that the next drop zone gets captured by them as they have spawned next to it on the other half of the map.

Even so we had no defence to the Javelins and explosive spam at the DZ's. I haven't looked through it all, but they had at least 2 Trophys at one zone on Fallen

Just trap them in corners so they have to kill themselves ;)
 
FFA is totally crap in this game due to the spawning system.
Tried one game earlier and gave up. I had players spawning behind me and shooting me in the back,players spawning in front of me so I shot them in the back. At one point a player killed me,I spawned around the corner from them and they ran around and killed me again before i'd had chance to move :mad:
 
FFA makes it worse due to the fact that every player is out to kill you. In TDM if somebody spawns near you there'll be a slight delay trying to work out if they're friend or foe,in FFA you just open fire straight away.
