Steam Christmas Sale 2011

Well Dead Island was £5 yesterday, so you never know :)

It certainly was, Steam works in mysterious ways sometimes. I already have Dead Island but it was 100% £5 when the sale started yesterday.

Maybe an error, maybe a short one time deal. Either way, it was a damn bargain, even I thought wow, thats cheap. And now its £20!

I think sometimes, if you see something that seems like an absolute bargain, then get on and order it cos it may be a mistake and will soon be found and rectified.

Ok thanks, I feel bad buying both of them at the same time. I'll just get LA Noire. Anyone got any ideas of how I can download it without the internet at home?

Please don't buy anything that isn't on a daily deal until the last day of the sale. You can bet that if you do the price will be reduced on a future daily deal and you'll feel silly :)

So glad i got another chance to grab Orcs Must Die in the daily's, really enjoyed the demo but missed the offer last week :)
Now i just need Bastion which i also missed..

You use the voucher by reading the small print, assuming its like mine you can't use it until the 2nd :p

And you get games and vouchers by completing in-game objectives:
http://store.steampowered.com/holidaysale/

Each achievement you get either gives you a game, a voucher or a lump of coal. See http://store.steampowered.com/holidaysale/details for more details.

But it seems like to complete those in-game objectives, you need to have required games already in your steam account?

E.g to complete 'Deck the Halls' objective, you need to have Orcs must die game purchased already?

Im considering gettin the valve pack(£24.99(nce there classics like CS etc. any1 know if I can gift other games i dont want or even sell them?

cheers

It's there to entice people to buy games they don't really want ;)

If you're strong, you can resist the temptation...

Hmmm rip-off :p

Well if someone buys the SSF4 AE 4-pack for £37.48, then each game will cost £9.37

I bought it already at 50% off price of £12.49 and currently enjoying it immensily. However I will be a bit dishearted if it went further to 75% off as I couldn't wait for this game any longer :(:p
