A delivery driver has been caught on CCTV throwing what appears to be a computer monitor over a fence rather than take it to the front door.

FedEx has vowed to track down the worker, who can be seen strolling casually up to the railings before his less-than-special delivery of the Samsung branded box.
A spokeswoman from the firm would not say what action would be taken against the employee once they find him, but warned: "This won't be his best day."
The YouTube user who uploaded the clip, gooble55, wrote in the description of the video: "The sad part is that I was home at the time with the front door wide open. All he would have had to do was ring the bell on the gate.
"Now I have to return my monitor since it is broken."

FedEx and UPS are two of the best courier companies around, despite this story. If it were Citylink they would have lost it before it got loaded onto the van and Yodel or HDL would have reversed the lorry over it just to make doubly sure it was broken.

Ouch looks like the Samsung S27A950D 27" 120Hz 3D Widescreen Ultra Thin LED Monitor.

I hope they take £600 out of his last wages too when they fire him!

Nothing which doesn't happen every day in the warehouse, I'm surprised it's broken.
Still a muppet though. No need and no signature.

And every courier has bad people in them. They are all much the same and depends far more on your local driver and warehouse.

Awwwww c'mon give the guy a break.

He's clearly helping the economy along here. The way I see it is that the economy *needs* more delivery drivers, and so by breaking that monitor on delivery, he gets an extra collection trip to pick up the faulty monitor, and an additional delivery trip. Win-win scenario. Plus its a win for the monitor manufactureres, as they get to make a new screen. :)
