I'm looking good for getting my speeder at level 25 though. I currently have 85kcred stored up so by the time I am level 25 I should have racked up a fair bit more. I have to say this is the first MMO for quite some time (the last one being WoW :( ) that has really pulled me into the game and want to stick at it. Conan was amazing for like the first 20 levels (I think) where everything was voice acted and was great but after that it was horrible. Rift was also nice but it just didn't pull me in like this has. Maybe its the lightsabers lol :p

Great game and the warzones as sin are insanely fun !

Yea I should be :p I only noticed the lvl requirements after I had completed like half the Nar Shaddaa quests lol I really wanted to go to Nar Shaddaa though as I loved the look of it. Also the music in Nar Shaddaa is awesome. I could quite happyily sit there and just listen to the music over and over :)

I'm going to finish the Nar Shaddaa quests I think then head back to Balmorra. Although my fear is I will have outleveled Balmorra and not get much xp gain from it. That said if I do get to that point I will just blitz through Balmorras class quest line and move on to the next place.
 
the offical forums are getting a lot of posts about this whole subcription before playing system that they are using.

Like i said before i never known of a MMO which needs you to subcribe before even playing the game with a valid code from a boxed dvd.

Seems i am not the only one who thinks this is rather unacceptable asking people to subscribe before even letting them play a game they allready payed for.

some might think its "ok and typical " but like i said i have, and none of all my friends have ever needed to subscribe just to play a MMO which we allready payed for.

Either way its causing a lot of topics on the forum with angry people....

I plan on rolling on KJ and hope a lot more empire players do then we can form a guild or something :)

Both my characters are on full servers this morning.

I left Frostclaw to start on Rogue Moon and now RM is just as bad.

I honestly can't think of an mmorpg that hasn't required you to do this? And I'm not being silly, I literally can't - and I've played shed loads of mmo's over the years.

I agree it's a stupid system, but this argument/forum drama comes up in every popular mmo release, it won't be anything new to the developers.
 
You know why they want ppl to subscribe to play the game ? It looks good on their numbers. That way end of the month they can say that they had XXmillion subscribers within the first week or so.

But as mentioned every single MMO I have ever played has always done this. Its not exactly a "new" thing that EA/BW have thought of doing.

If you are talking about what I think you are the crystals you need the Archeology skill. Its one of the crew skills you can learn.
 
Just put your details in to allow the 30 days then cancel the subscription, you'll get your 30 days and you won't be billed. I am failing to see the big problem that has been made out of it, most big MMO's for the last 5 years or so have made you do this.
 
So do you have to actually subscribe? Usual way of doing it was put in code from box, then get 30 days free play, then set up a sub? Havent played much last couple of days, various reasons but stupid queues being one of them. Hoping thats cleared up a bit.

Yeah you do have to subscribe from the get go.

Its a dumb system but probably helps retain customers.

Ive only played 2 MMO's before, but they both made you do this.

Hmmm...

They might be taking player concerns seriously perhaps?

Logged into a 400 queue... in the game in 5mins. Never seen that happen yet! Maybe they are doing something behind the scenes.

I think you might have just got lucky tbh. If Bioware were doing something we would all know, they love telling people how brilliant they are..
