Bah servers down this morning, am working from home especially for SWTOR.

Now I might actually have to do some work!!!

Am playing as a smuggler at level 17. My only problem is my companion corso riggs seems to die a lot. What stats should i be looking to improve him?.
Im pretty much an mmo noob so any help would be appreciated

You should be looking to upgrade his equipment with random drops as well as your own. He likes Heavy armor with endurance and aim on it - and any good blaster rifles you can find.

You a scoundrel or gunslinger?

Im a gunslinger. All the weapon upgrades confuse me as im just used to picking the biggest axe lol.

Got my Enquistor too 13 last night, gone the side of the force (Sorcerer) and looking to go into healing in the end game stuff

Still enjoying it, trying to get a friend into it but he keeps protesting its rubbish cause of the other Star war games he played :S

In that case I think you just need to kill enemies before they kill Corso

Dont forget your out of combat "recuperate" ability also heals him very quickly
so you can top up his health between fights withou much downtime.

Bloody Game, usually they are great but this time they seem to have screwed up... Pretty sure today is the last grace day before I have to enter my code to carry on playing.

Really not keen on the city based planets like Coruscant and Nar Shadaa. Feels very enclosed and more linear. The open organic planets lead you too believe its an open world. Bored of corridors so I just did the class quests and jetted off

Agreed, I am not a huge fan of Nar Shadaa - it looks pretty, but is just too enclosed and corridor like. I killed the world boss, did the class quests, then left the place.

I decided to try out smuggler and I absolutely love the gameplay. managed to level him to 10 early this morning on Peragus Mining Facility.

I loved Nar Shadaa - but it couldn't beat the magic of stepping out onto Tatooine for the first time.

Will be picking this up today! (Still unsure on CE or normal) Looking around everyone and their dog is the class i'd like to play, Sith Inquisitor. I'm coming from wow and my main was a mage (Also in the original the Ocuk guild - Shattered Halls)

I'm wondering if people are finding a lack of tanks / healers? I know it'll differ from server to server but I like to choose my class and stick with it. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

I bought a 120 GB Corsair Force 3 SSD, because I have been getting a lot of Load Stuttering and Long Loading times in SWTOR, with otherwise reasonable FPS -- my mechanical hard drive is very old.

Just a quick question: if I install Windows 7 on the SSD, and then install the SWTOR patcher, can I then copy all the SWTOR files over from my old HD to the new SSD and allow the patcher to finalise the data? I.e. so I don't have to re-download 15GB xD Or is there a way to copy my entire HDD to the SSD, because my current HDD is only using 67GB/250GB of space

Edit: Nevermind. I'm so thick; I just posted this after I returned from town from buying a boxed copy of SWTOR :/ I don't have to re-download it haha.

No shortage of tanks, but there is definitely a shortage of healers on every server I have been on.

I am curious what the logic is of having the server status pages down when doing maintenance.
Actually I'm more curious if theres a samurize plugin which could monitor your servers status. But thats unlikely as no one uses it any more
