I was just wondering would it be worth using the artic adhesive paste for these, or to buy some thermal pads.

Buy some Akasa adhesive tape, using it on vram and vrm's for almost a year and nothings budged.

The AC paste isn't very good, it only lasts for so long then the heatsinks fall off, that's the reason OCUk never stocked the AC Extremes.

You better remove the link, not allowed to link to competitors, although I have heard they are very good, I tried to get them myself at the time, but couldn't find any.

Thermalright do packs of heatsinks, you might have to go on the bay to find some though.
