Really interesting watch. The guy has really done his homework and makes some good points!! He has a bit of a conspiracy thing going on with many of the points but I still believe it all!! Like, Favourite and share! :)

You want us to help stop a country we don't live in, are not citizens of and play no part in the political system of, passing a law through its own elected congress aimed at its own citizens?

Good luck with that.

If you had done your homework or watched any videos regarding SOPA you would know by now that it affects all of us, not just the US!

It might affect us, but I suggest you read my post again for reasons why there is absolutely nothing we can do about it whatsoever and neither should there be anything we can do about it. It's not our country, they are not our elected representatives and they are not our laws.

If we decided to ban the exports of Jaguar cars for example, that would affect people in the US but there wouldnt be an awful lot they could do about it because they dont live here, vote her or participate in the democratic system here.

We can still do our part as little as that may be. Sharing information such as this video helps the fight against SOPA. There are other ways countries outside the US can help too as explained in the video!

Well I guess our voices might be carried higher up to a state level or European level where they might listen to it. Won't do much though, Europe is firmly against capital punishment but have America listened? Nope and have they listened to our concerns about the British woman on trial? Nope.
I actually think America might be dieing right in front of our eyes, NDAA is likely to pass, as well as SOPA and a stagnating economy. It does not look good.

I just watched that, for some stupid reason.

I lol'ed when he, in all seriousness, suggested that America was going to invade England.

Personally, if America bans certain things on the internet then i'll just move to Russia and work for LulzSec or Anonymous and continuously ruin the lives of every single American politician ever until they send a spy over to kill me!

I will become an e-freedom fighter! Believe! :D

Can you imagine being banned from OcUK Forums by the US government?

There's no need for that kind of defeatism.

Over the past couple of days a bunch of folk over on reddit, many of them Brits, have scored a major PR victory by forcing GoDaddy to rescind their support for the bill. The GoDaddy boycott has now been reported by dozens of major news outlets, the kind read by people that matter; Forbes, BusinessWeek, TIME, Bloomberg, etc.

Likewise, English rapper Dan Bull did his bit by releasing the 'SOPA Cabana' rap. I shan't link to the video as it contains swearies, but it's gained more than half a million views on YouTube and has also been reported by numerous major news organisations.

There are plenty of examples of Brits lobbying against SOPA, and gaining significant traction in doing so.
