Who wants to photoshop my sig pic??

Hi all,

I was just wondering if anyone could take my signature picture and photoshop it so that the white background is transparent, so people can actually see the writing there. I know I can change the text colour but I want it yellow, with transparent background.

If it is easier, the text says:

i5 2500K, P8Z68 V LX, Gelid, 1TB HDD, 8GB RAM, 120GB SSD, Blu-ray, CM Elite 430 Case, Antec 550W PSU, Bluetooth Card Reader, GeForce GTX460 1GB

Would also be great if you could tell me how to do it as I have the software, it's just that I'm a bit of an amateur at using it

I dont think you can make it transparent per say i think, you change the white to the colour of the forum so it blends in, but it would look odd if people are using the black theme and vica versa.

Yeah, over the ridiculous 20Kb sig size limit which even a 56k modem wouldn't have a problem with loading.

I think these rules need to be changed. I think they were put in place years ago when people had slow net, slow computers etc.... But these days it doesn't really matter.

Didn't we have a debate a while back and the mods refused to change it? Can't remember the reason why.

mine got removed for being 30kb.

is it automatic or does some sadcase actually sit there and have to check ?

There's no need to change it, it's more fuss that it's worth. Jpeg compression is good enough that you don't ever need an image larger than 20KB (not Kb) anyway.

I think one of the reasons was that it saps mobile phone data allowance a lot if people are allowed like 200KB signatures. Also the bandwidth all adds up.

There is a signature creation thread for questions just like this. You just delete the white, set transparency on and save as .png although often png does go over the 20kb limit....

Ooops didn't know there was a dedicated thread for this sort of stuff

I think that is what the people above have done for me but they are over 20kb
