What a shame EP3 CTRs are now cheap enough that braindead fools can buy them

Some digging shows that this guy only bought that car on the 11th December. My guess is that with driving like that either he or the car won't be on the roads for much longer.

In retrospect, I could have changed to 2nd instead of 3rd. I'm not convinced that would have made a massive difference to the outcome though. Also, I probably could have got on the power faster and maybe a little earlier but I was being as cautious regarding oncoming traffic as absolutely possible. I know the road very well.

Also, thinking about it now, a CTR on a nice road doing 40mph is probably just out to bait people into this situation. ****.

Yeah, that squeak started that evening and has now been resolved

There are a couple of other rattles that will resolve themselves when I have finished the rest of the gauges and stuff to go in. The rest of the rattling is the camera itself, sadly.

The CTR cannot out accelerate his MX-5. DRZ decided not to continue the overtake because the CTR driver decided to be a dangerous idiot.

I sympathise with you in regards to this tool though. Seems he was simply out for a win, cos he has a wicked new motor. When this happens to me, it gives me the motivation to keep my car, and not opt to get a slower one.

Upgrades to performance also help too

Yeah, the bit where accelerating whilst being overtaken is a massively stupid thing to do and is almost certainly Dangerous Driving, as is taking a pretty blind bend on the wrong side of the road?

Also, the CTR's bonnet was roughly level with my boot when I shifted to 4th, thought better of being in this situation and extricated myself from it. He wasn't out accelerating me, I just wasn't passing him quickly enough.

If you think what the CTR did was in any way acceptable then you need to rethink your attitude towards driving.

No my headlights are suitable enough. I only find myself ever needing high beams when I don't know a road very well.

Are you for real? This was not a game of GTA, had something been coming down the other side of the road it could have ended badly all because some scrote wanted to get some kicks.. How old are you ffs?

Yes, you've missed the fact its nothing to do with being out-accelerated and everything to do with a dangerous and reckless move by another car that was being overtaken. It wasn't a race, it was two unrelated cars on a road, one deciding to make a legal overtake of the other.
