...is that the max...?

Yep Purple's are max mod’s as far as I have seen

yet I would not waste mats/credits on purples till higher levels, I will start R/E to Purple's after i hit 40 i recon, depending ofc on how long I expect them to last that is, currently I have to replace 5 Armourments and 6 Modifications every two levels and that already is expensive :P

I am cybertech by the way :)

Cool, thanks. I'm only lvl 16 so just messing about seeing if I get lucky, probably be able to use the purple item a couple of hours then ill out level it :p

err yer they all in the FULL servers which are impossible to get into lol

so out of those 5 which one should i pick????? (need quick sugestion for UK player, as i dont wana be in server full of russians...)

I wouldn't worry too much because I think the queues are looking worse than they actually are at the moment.

Selection depends on PvE/PvP - but as a largely PvE player, I know that Frostclaw (Imperial guild) and Kellian Jarro (Republic guild) have no russians that I have seen and are generally full of really freindly players.

Level 5 on Frostclaw at the moment , is the ocuk guild open to newbies? I wanted to join the pvp server but the queues were ridiculous :(.

Open to all OcUKers :) - whisper Zago (me) and I will add you. Should be on in about an hour, unless someone else can add you before.

Loads of OcUKers in the guild now and there are regularly 2-3 active groups :)

Still confused by the crafting system! Does your companion automaticaly learn new recipes or do you have to loot/buy them?

Me too - I think you can buy some new receipes, but have to discover others.

Starting to become quite bored with my Bounty hunter (lvl 33) - rolled a Sith warrior playing as a lightside character has been more enjoyable :D

 Lightside! :p

I always really enjoy having a bounty hunter in my group - such an excellent class. Still prefer my Sith Juggernaut though :) (and I always seem to be in demand for groups!).

Have a Sith Inquisitor alt all ready to be levelled too :)

Anyone in Immortals over on Niman also finding PvP to really suck on that server? We lost 5 consecutive warzones last night when me and 3 friends played them. Republic really sucked, no team work or control whatsoever. If this is a taste of things to come on Niman, I might roll elsewhere, as I really don't want to be on a server that has such unbalanced PvP.

I will try share my knowledge :D

You get 3 crew skills

1 crafting (eg Cybertech)
1 gathering (eg Scavenging)
1 mission (Underworld trading)

Now all three need to compliment the crafting skill.

I made a mistake and sent my companions out so Scavenge, there is no need as you can do this while questing and farming "nodes" cheaper and faster.

Underworld metals can ONLY be farmed for by your companion as it is a mission crew skill.

so you hit level 10 on Cybertech and go to the trainer and learn some green MODs, you then make said MOD and reverse engineer it, you get back some mats and have a chance to learn a blue equivalent of the mod, then you decide you want something better and reverse engineer some of the blues and learn the purple equivalent.

As you level your crafting skill more greens become available that you get from your trainer and R/E them into blues then the blues into purples.

one thing I like to add READ what you are sending your companion to get on your mission skill, I did not know that and wasted credits getting cloth and companion gifts rather that metals, I know is silly but only figured that out after i was broke three times :P

Hope this sheds some light, any questions feel free to ask, not feeling like working anyway and need time to fly :p

From the vendor that teaches you the skill in the first place? (i.e Underground Trading)

not the best example as underworld trading isn't a craft, it's a mission skill, but yes that is the general idea. gathering/missions skills just get you materials and drops from the missions you send them off on, but the craft skills are where you actually make things. off the top of my head those are....armormech, armstech, artifice, biochem....cybertech...synthweaving...i think that's it

Hey

Ive rolled an Inquisitor, healing spec.

I'm level 18 and just finished hammer station, i noticed that my "mana" "force" runs out pretty quickly when healing, has anyone got any tips? ive noticed that will power doesnt increase your "force" pool (like wow) nor does it increase the regen rate (like spirit in wow)

any tips?

I've rolled the same. I've found that my force runs out quite quickly, it's more annoying when group members just run off into another set of mobs without letting you recharge!!!

I find with CC, Heals and also shields it does drain quick. I started stat padding my items. If it has more willpower, I wear it. I'm not bothered about gear as im LVL21 so gear will come and go fast. Any old green with lots of willpower is the way forward!

Welcome to Republic PVP.

not sure how it works with cybertech, but with synthweaving if i reverse engineer the purple you can get purple [superior] but that's kinda pointless at low lvl anyway :)

Not tried that, nor have I seen mention of [superior] MODs on “TORHEAD” amongst others, perhaps it is just for gear crafting skills, yet DONT quote me on it as I have not experimented and will try getting [superior] when I get to 50 I recon oh and after a epic speeder ofc :P

Not worth the credits and mats before then in my I recon :p
