*****Official Star Wars: The Old Republic Thread*****

How are the queues on ToFN these days guys? Ain't played in about a week. If the servers opened up and got a bit more active I think i'll be coming back soon ;)

It went quiet for q bit, no queues, but it's back to 30 minutes to an hour now. It's a real shame because I've got 2 characters on there that I can't play because I only have a couple of hours a night and don't want to spend half of it queueing. So started another character but really hating my fifth run through the starter planet.

There were only about 4 servers that werent completely full last night, so went for some random one, dont even know which one it was. Hopefully that one stays quite quiet, for the first while at least not queuing is more important to me than having a lot of people on the server, as im not too bothered about teaming up when im low leveled and becuase I dont get a heap of time to play then im going to be low leveled for a while yet.

When will swtor give trials? like in WoW because I don't want to be spending £40 for a game I might not enjoy :(

So much for wanting to go Smuggler Twi'lek, I think I'm gonna stick with my Sith Marauder now or else I'll never see Level 50! My experience so far on Frostclaw Empire is that at most I've got a 10 minutes queue which is fine as I get home from work, log on and takes me 10 minutes to wind down anyways. Rather be on a populated server for end-game purposes than a dead one, although that might change if queues become like 30 mins to an hour on a regular basis. General chat is lively enough for me, and if I do need to group up for a heroic quest, there is always someone available.

I gotta say, I do love how casual friendly it is for me atm, mainly because of the story and dialogue to keep me hooked rather than just jump from one quest to another, killing this X times etc.

I hope to be able to kill Darth Baras later. He's such a tawt and looks like he's wearing the Paladin Tier 2 recoloured set.

How do you all make money? pretty skint atm, is there any place just to grind mobs for credit/drops to sell?

Stopped sending my crew out to find stuff now i can pick most of it up, I attempt to sell any blues i get on GTN and just vendor all greens as there pointless.

I haven't bothered trying to make money really, took a brief break from crew skills around lvl 25 to get the first speeder skill. Since then I've just been questing along with crew skills and am sat around 150k at level 36 which is still quite low.

The 100% mount isn't worth the money atm for the 10% increase in speed so I'll probably just save up and buy the 110% mount at both skills at lvl 50. My crew skills should be capped way before 50.

I'm a little disappointed. I like the game itself, the Mechanics, the combat style, the story telling - But I just can't get into any of the classes :(
