Best budget gaming gpu?

Looking at £80-115 MAX, must be-able to handle full 1080p HD monitor and gaming nicely, the cheaper the better of course.

Hmmm I think the 550ti is slower than the 6770's by AMD.

+1 the 460 is quite a bit faster than both the 550Ti and 6770.

if your willing to consider 2nd hand, then hunt about for a 5850 or a 5870 tbh, both are amazing cards for the potentially little money they go for now

GTX 460 probably has a slight advantage but it does depend what games you will want to play.

The 460 will handle AA better and overclock further, though it will suck up a little more power.

6850 or 6870 is also a very good option. Both are faster than the 460 with the new drivers.

Now dont get me wrong, i love my 460 but there is NO way in hell they can take BF3 at 1920x1080p at 42fps avg on ultra settings!?!?!

My card uses mostly medium and a few high settings, no msaa, high fxaa and ssao and usually average about 40fps on 64 player servers at 1080p.

As soon as you put textures to ultra or enable msaa your FPS goes bye bye (5-11fps)

Have you overclocked it?

I overclocked mine and my BF3 settings are all on high, 1920x1080p, x2 MSAA, I get more than 40+ fps minimum.
