I really wanted to welcome the New Year in by heading in to the city and dodging the yobs but feel I can't do that without the missus. (Kids too makes it even more difficult)

(My) Plan is to give my missus a cuddle at midnight and wish her a happy new year. Well that's the plan anyway,she may just push me away and say 'WTH are you upto'

... I may just fall asleep as I seem to have come down with something nasty over the past hour or so. Head is spinning, sneezing away and lemsip on standby

Just sat on the sofa with my Mrs, watching a Billy Connelly DVD, drinking some cider. I washed the car earlier, then tidied up my garage, threw out a load of old crap, the cooked dinner.

My son is on the ps3, my daughter is making card things in the living room and my missus is watching dude where is my car on tv.
