What policy are EA running with cheaters at the moment?
 
People dont realise but the cheat system is going to change in the next 2 or 3 years.

New cheat system is in the works for a certain game.
The cheat system poloymorphs. It changes it code constantly.

VAC and punkbuster systems are ancient now.

BF3 was hacked within a week.

VAC is poo.
Also, VAC bans are game specific, not account wide, nor genre wide, as someone recently wrongly said.
Maybe they used to be, though have not for years now.

No matter what, hacks will get through any system.. It's up to the anti-cheat companies to decide 'how long' they're gonna get away with it before they get off their asses and do something.
 
Punkbuster is useless. Pbbans seems a bit better but still not perfect. Trouble is you need a website and a community to stream from pbbans, i know ive tried to set it up before and was denied.

Checking through my server punkbuster logs ive yet to see one single ban for a hack tool. I've seen a lot of action in the violation log. Ignoring queries or Comm fails.

I've just setup punkbuster screenshots which might prove handy in catching these hackers. Being able to see what they see on screen should really help i think.
 
An absolutely brilliant round on UKCS:BF3#1 just now, I feel so refreshed from such a good round that I need food, lots of good teamworking and many ribbons acquired :p

There was a lot of this:

I think my favourite gun has to be the Support class M249 with flash suppress, bipod and red dot reflex sight. So good and pretty damn accurate for headshots long range when on a bipod.

Also, Bipod = best thing ever!

I've only really played 2 classes most of the time now, Recon with SV98 and Support, CBA playing any others when these 2 are so satisfying :p

Mainly play as assault or engineer. Favourite weapons are the m416, and m16a3, ump or scar-h as engineer.
