Or do you rely on smartphones, tablets and other digital devices?

Personally, I like having a calendar on the wall. It just makes it easier to remember what I've got planned for the coming month.

Those of you that do use a wall calendar; what calendar are you using and where did you get it from?

Tablet and phone Callander, informant HD to be precise.

Why does a wall Callander make it easier? You can't see it when out and about and it doesn't sync between devices.

Coming to the end of working shifts, but the GF has one in the kitchen and marks my rota down. Won't need it though as I'll be a normal day worker soon?

I normally just use the calender on my phone.

i hear wall calendars have sold really well this year. they will never find a place in my house ever as they're no way easier when you have a smartphone. couldn't imagine how basic my diary would have to be if it was all written in a tiny box.

same with watches, i can't see why i'd ever want one

I use a wall calender inthe kitchen...easy to glance at to remind me whats going on during the month.

I use other media as well, although I still find the wall calender in the kitchen the most effective.

It's al fine having smart phone calenders when your single however when you have a family a paper one in the kitchen is invaluable, I use my DHD calender linked to my Outlook at work for work stuff and the paper one at home for family stuff.

This way the wife and I can book nights out, weekends away, parents evenings, shooting days etc etc months in advance, it works well, if I want a night out I check the paper calender if it's free its mine if not it's a no go and if the wife wants to book me for something then she just finds an empty slot.

.

You can sync other people's Callanders.
That way you can see your wife's/children's etc and still see what's happening when out and about. Someone invites you to something. You can look at it instantly and know what's happening.

MS Outlook synced to my phone for work related tasks, I don't really make use of a calendar otherwise but ill occasionally put reminders in my phone. If its just to check the date ill either use my phone, computer or Sky tv, whatevers closest. No wall calendar or similar though.
