7970 prices

Crazy pricing, very sad to see AMD/ATI going this way. 5870 was 70% faster than 4870 and launched for £300 and was the fastest single GPU. 7970 is only 50% faster than 5870 and launching at prices up to 50% more!

No guarantee's on OcUK brand, hence why its the best priced. I shall search high and low for the best deal with a stock estimated arrival circa end of this month.
 
I can't understand how the Asus card is so much higher? I was ready for OCuk to take my wallet but they priced themselves out of the competition.
