Case of mistaken identity, your fine (bar possible death by chewing gum blockage) put it down to experience. These things unfortunately happen

Why would he run after him if he was too scared to fight back in the first place?
I think Muhammad Ali had the best approach. He had his bike stolen at the age of 12, and told the police officer he was going to kick his ass, or some similar phrase, to which the officer replied "you'd better learn to box first". The rest, as you know, is history.
Now, I'm not implying the best alternative is to get revenge (lovely as it may sound), but take from it experience if you will. Turn it around into something positive.

You're quick to report other people's posts but don't you think this is a little out of line? The poor chap has just experienced something pretty nasty and all you can do is mock him? I suggest think before posting.

Sorry to hear that buddy. Some people are quite vile, it's nothing new, these types have always existed. You seem to have taken it quite well though. I'm not sure what I would have done in your situation. I would have probably seen red and hit them right back, then cried after they left
