Decided not to show something at CES sounds like it could be good news...assuming we are talking about sample demos and not paper info.

So Jen Hsun Huang says be patient for Kepler, AKA it's nowhere near launch!
I thought it was widely known that Kepler isn't due until Q3 of this year, which is... July or August?
I'm pretty sure Nvidia's own slides have said as much.
AMD went for a mid range card for their first 40nm card, mainly to test the waters.Kepler is misleading, usually you launch the big parts first. It looks for the world that kepler's "launch" will be GK107 chips, which are anything but high end.
It might be a purely business decision on Nvidia's part to perhaps dampen the enthusiasm for Ivy Bridge's IGP which is looking quite strong in the entry level range.
