Your mouse technique?..

uuh.... not sure.

I tend to use my thumb on one side, the tip to control the mouse movement and the upper pad to push the side buttons.... then my little finder and 4th finger to control the other side of the mouse/mvmnt

My Palm touches lightly...

Is this some claw variant?

Claw grip, it's the only way if you want the highest accuracy possible. I used variant of the logitech pilot mouse for the last 10 years going all the way back to quake 2 such as G1, G3 etc only recently moved onto a new claw grip mouse the coolermaster xornet, highly recommended for any pure claw grip games, very light and low LOD.

There is an inbetween called fingertip grip, like a mix of claw and palm.

Claw grip gamers tend to not move their wrist much allowing for very fast twitch movement, whereas palm grip gamers will tend to lift their wrist off the pad.

I'm left handed, but keep MB1 and MB2 the way right handed people use it. I.e middle finger to shoot, first finger to aim down sights. First finger does the scrolling too.

I seem to hold the mouse in my palm most of the time, with my wrist resting on the desk.
