US marines urinated on bodies of taliban fighters

It's a war! How would you feel if someone was trying to snipe at you and blow you up?

I think hearts and minds is a load of tosh.

American soldiers used to go round pulling gold teeth out of dead/half-dead Japanese soldiers mouths in the pacific war, so nothing new.

Did you hear that, Coallition Forces? Those guys that capture and torture your brothers-in-arms are only doing those horrible things to them because it is a war.

You can all go home, safe in the knowledge that it's just a war time thing, and that no real offence was meant!
 
They've probably seen their buddies being mutilated and killed in lots of horrible ways and are taking out their anger. It's not fair for armchair liberals to judge them and their actions when war obviously changes people.
 
I've never understood this sort of disgust at soldiers actions. The guys are paid to go and **** up another country's soldiers using whatever means necessary, in ways that aren't exactly clean and comfortable. Then as soon as they let out massive stress and anger by giving a bunch of them a beating after a comrade has been captured, tortured and killed for example, then the press are all over it like flies to ****.

It's war, not paintball.

how would i feel? i wouldn't feel like i had to urinate on them. we are not like them, this kind of act makes us like them, infact i doubt they would do this. of course, i understand what the taliban have done but that's not the point.
 
Urinating on dead bodies vs the utterly brutal and savage gang rape, torture and mutilation that the taliban will inflict on enemy soldiers and their own people before publicly stringing their poor carcasses up for all the fanatics to beat with sticks.

Taliban did this to a few 15 year old boys too that 'broke the law.'

no one is interested they killed the guys, just that they pee'd on them? I would rather spend a week getting pee'd on that a second getting a bullet in the head...
