And the people who say the space below the screen is to big do realize the space directly below the screen are touch sensitive buttons right.

Hm, the more I look at this, the more I like it.

I think the back of it just looks superb and I have no doubt the camera will be fantastic.

Sony is so much better than Sony Ericsson.
 
I think that SE logo on the back will go - and that Sony logo on the front has beeen Photoshopped on.

Phone shops seems clueless about this phone. One thought I was talking about the Arc S. I forget how many times I go into a phone shop just wanting to kill some time and getting mobbed by the staff. Yesterday I walk in intending to get talk to a staff member and they were nowhere to be seen or ignored me :p. I get the distinct feeling this phone will not be coming out within 5 days!
 
Hey guys.. Joined this site around a year ago when I was looking forward to getting my Xperia Arc, now it’s time for the Xperia S! Hope you are all doing well.

Cannot wait for this handset. Extremely excited! I’ve done a lot of shopping around.. Around 2 weeks ago, two German websites – cyberport.de and getgoods.de – were selling the phone for €450 SIM free. Including delivery to Ireland, this was coming in approx €130 cheaper than Play.com and Handtec.co.uk

For that difference, I would have been able to get the Smart Watch also, which the two German sites were selling at €79, and the two products combined would still come in cheaper than the phone alone on Handtec or Play!

Since then, Handtec have lowered their price and with the Euro conversion comes in a little over €500. Both of the aforementioned German sites have raised their price to €500! However, Play.com are charging €607! That is outrageous! How can they get away with such a large difference in price??

In the end, I reckon I’ll be ordering from Handtec as that is where I got my Arc. Delivery was prompt so as soon as next payday comes along (end of Feb) I will be pre-ordering the Xperia S.

I’m yet to see a better price for the Smart Watch, so I might be getting that from either of the German sites.

It really looks a fantastic phone and I’m counting down the days now to when I can get it.
