i remember when school got their first pc with a CD drive and speakers, yes speakers :eek:

used to be fights at lunchtime to get to the one with the CD drive for Encarta :cool:

Lol Encarta pretty much became pointless as soon as Google launched and the internet developed.

But yes, Encarta was useful in its day, didn't they publish the whole thing online for free now? and made money through advertising on their page?

I remember this at school. There used to be animal sounds and some of them sounded hilarious, we used to play them on the speakers and annoy the teacher.
