Noel Fieldings Luxury Comedy

I was left bemused tbh, it seems likely possibly something i could get into but i might need to be stoned for it next time.
 
Some of it was funny, I liked the "do you take caaaard" bit, but mainly because it was almost like a forced meme.

The rest of it though was just....WAT?

Maybe we're expecting it to be like the Boosh when that isn't what it's aiming to be at all?
 
I liked the finny characters from the Boosh though, the moon, the crack fox etc, but this was just painful.
Reminds me of when Simon Amstel ripped into Fielding in NMTBC. "Ohhh funny are you Fielding, It that how it works... you say funny words and it works does it - you throw out weird words - hippopotamus and juggling - anyone can do that! I've got facts based jokes!"
 
another over hyped comedian who's had a bag of money tossed at him, sure its all trippy and out there but maybe if he'd spent a bit more time getting the funny right rather than the costumes and colours it would be better.

dont know whats going on in tv land but theres some right dross being produced thats being hyped up as the funniest thing ever.
 
Not a fan of the guy personally and have absolutely no idea why he is famous or why money is still thrown at the guy to make such garbage.
 
If people liked The Boosh and the other stuff he's done, then fair enough if you don't like this but if you didn't like those then why the hell would you watch this?

I've not got around to watching it yet so I don't know if I'll be disappointed but what were you expecting from this if you didn't find him funny in the first place.

Well then, not sure what to make of that, if you didn't find him funny before then that definitely wouldn't change your mind.
 
I had 5 mins of it, to see if it was an improvement on things he'd done previously.

It's as bad as the Mighty Boosh, which I didn't think possible.
 
I think its only supposed to appeal to stoners

Hate Noel Fielding anyway, claims to be a "goth" just because he dresses in black, he's no more goth than Russell Brand
 
I loved Mighty Boosh and was looking forward to this but its ironically, on his own show its "Too much of him" and eventually it got on my nerves.

As someone else said, he needs something else to bounce off.

I did like the Lion Sketch mad me smirk.

Him and the "shaman" guy bits were also bearable.

I watched a few minutes of it and I felt like I was on drugs.

I can see that Noel's a very creative person and his contribution to The Mighty Boosh was very valid, but this is just a step too far. I think he needs someone reigning him in tbh.
 
I don't find him funny, I didn't find the Mighty Boosh funny, I didn't find this funny and I think that actually makes me normal.

People I know that find him and his shows funny are students and smoke copious amounts of the green stuff. Luckily for Fielding that still gives him a healthy sized audience to pitch at and have as a fan base.
