i'm thinking an anti-tank class, seriously, i was reading up on dredge in guild wars 2 and saw that they rode vehicles

The dredge have invented the massive dredge walkers, destructive vehicles capable of smashing down fortifications.

The charrzooka concept art looks epic.

But why am i getting images of a generic walker that will probably look identical to the ones used by the Orks in Dawn of War II? ><

The Guild Wars 2 beta will begin in the second half of 2011, NCsoft has announced.

During a conference call, chief financial officer Jaeho Lee also heavily hinted at a 2012 release for the game.

"Starting from year 2012, we believe substantial growth will be driven by new blockbuster titles like [Blade & Soul] and Guild Wars 2," announced Lee to investors.

"Also, Guild Wars 2 will go into beta testing stage in the second half of this year," he added.

Guild Wars 2 developer ArenaNet has stuck staunchly to a 'when it's done' mentality regarding the game's release.

Guild Wars 2 was announced in 2007. Four years later, a team of 150 developers still beavers away. Guild Wars 1 may have been a breakout independent success, but Guild Wars 2 is a leviathan. And the hottest MMO prospect on the block.

"Guild Wars 2 is the most exciting MMO we've seen in the last three years," wrote Oli Welsh, who saw Guild Wars 2 for Eurogamer earlier this year.

The thing is that everything looks nice except the trees.

Arena Net said that they were developing GW2 on a DX10 engine (DX9 compatible) which will be capable of running comfortably on mid range computers on its time of release. But it is currently looking like a 4850 will be able to run it maxed out.

But talking about it in GW2 threads annoys people who dont / didnt like it or something.

Yer Im so excited for it to come out as well, didn't play GW1 so the concept will be quite new to me. I heard the beta is to be released to press and select people in Feb, then eventually late April/March for everyone.

Can't wait
