A HD7950 3GB isn't mid range, its Its the second fastest single GPU card ever!

Mid range will be 78xx series.

What makes you think it's a mid-range GPU?? It performs on par with a gtx 580 and the same as the reference 7970 when overclocked which still makes it a high-end card.

I was going to order the 7950 tomorrow but the 7970 above is very tempting although I'll probably miss out at getting one at that price as there's only 2 left.

I don't remember the 58xx series commanding this price when they were the top end, although the shortages certainly pushed some crazy prices. And the 69xx cards have always been poor performance for cash, and I'm amazed they still hold the value they do this far down the line. You could get a 5850 for 150 quid a year after launch on mm.

Still, 350 quid is what we were hoping for with the 7950 so well done ocuk on knocking out some solid deals.
