As much as I agree with the sentiment that wouldn't be the sensible thing to do. I'm sure he'll get it back 'under the radar' albeit over a longer period. However if he had refused to decline it, it could have actually affected his career.

Almost everything? RBS is owned by the state because it completely ****ed up? The banking industry was insolvent before being bailed out, which is hardly a shining example of the free market.

Everyone falling over themselves to praise the bankers just because it's the opposite of what Stockhausen believes is funny though. You can be right wing and admit the banks are messed up you know.
