Still not sure if I'm losing it. Been a very high brow for years so not sure if that means I'll actually lose it at some point or if it'll stay the same.

Fingers crossed!

(and yes I pulled my hair back for the shot, I don't rock around looking like one of the avatars).

I'm 24 and I went bald at 23 too... took me a long time to come round to the idea, but honestly, the best thing to do is either have a "number 1" haircut, to make the rest of your hair look shorter... thus making the effect a little more bearable, or shave it off completely.

Don't waste away a fortune trying to deal with it, just accept the fact you're bald.

Besides, Patrick Stewart's done all right for himself!

I'm going thin on-top and have shaved my head a few times, while nice the feeling is, at the end of it I look like a convict and put women off.

Can't win.:(

A mate of mine went bald last year, felt like it happened over night, I joked that it was because he always wore a hat, and that taking the hat off all the time must have sped up the process, taking hairs with it every time he removed it lol.

If you're selfconscious about bein bald then wear a hat, or alternativly, draw funny things on you egg to amuse people, I find X's and O's entertaining

Vote for propecia here, well generic propecia (finasteride).
Been taking it for over 4 years and it has stopped my hairloss and seems to actually be helping to regrow it.

gone by the name of receedo and mr. burns so far, going for a haircut tomorrow to reveal exactly what my combover is hiding. 25 and hating it! Skinny aswell so cant bear lopping it all off because last time I did that I got all kinds of WW2 references if you get my drift...

I'm 25, got a receiding hairline and bald crown...just used the trimmer with no guard on it.

If you're 50 you may able to carry off a bald crown but I don't exactly want to walk around looking like a monk at my young age.

I'm also a big person so its not a bad look, but I'd understand your hesitation if you were a bit of a weed.

You could get a hair transplant, but just look how ridiculous wayne rooney looks!

I don't want to look like George from Seinfeld, thats how I'd look if I didnt trim.

You need to accept the bald and shave it off like a man, or buy a wig.

Edit: First time I shaved mine off I was called Luke. Not because that was my name but because I have pale skin and looked like I had Leukemia. Was quite a step up after years of being called names like sheep, birds nest head and Screech.

My Granddad who was 70 last year, still have a full head of blonde hair like mine.

Heres hoping :)
Well if your dad/grandparents on both sides have a full head of hair, you may be OK.

Contrary to popular belief baldness isn't passed down from the mothers side, it's equally likely to be passed down by either side (it's not a specific sex related gene).

They're rocking a full head of head on both, one being 65 one being 70.

Like a boss.
