Butterfly is easy.

Not when compared to the other 3 standard strokes it isn't, and it's less about the rythm of the kicks than about having good enough leg and abdominal strength when you kick to force your shoulders out the water, if you don't get your shoulders up you won't get your arms over as they will be dragging in the water.

Yes, though sometimes thought it was a waste of time.

Saying that, it should help me out in the future if I ever leave my current job.

Ba(Hons) Sociology for me. Good to see that the largest group on here are educated to at least degree level. I'd be interested to see a similar poll on a different forum

It's Easyrider and he will have an agenda which will be that his life choice and education is the besterest EVER and anybody who didn't do the same is inferior.
Only his opinions count and I've never seen him change.

How do you work that one out?

Link to where I say this in thread?

Thanks

Sometimes I think the uneducated have an easier time in life.

If I was thick then I would settle for the deal. Not over think things and have zero ambition.

I would be happy with what I've got.

Happy ignorance must be a beautiful state to be in. Staying in watching soaps and other mindless TV shows. Not caring about bigger and better things. My grass would be green all the time.

Trust someone who can do a sub 30 50m fly - a lot of it is about the rhythm than you might think. There is admitteddly core through leg required to get it working, but it's a lot easier to get your shoulders and head out with the right rhythm. Whenever I notice people failing to do it, it tends to be due to them not having worked out how the stroke works....

But I'll admit it is harder to get the hang of than the 3 other strokes. However on a pure muscle point of view, you tend to find the breaststrokers to be the largest physically. E.g. whilst Cielo is hardly small, Silva makes him look small relatively xD
