Never one to stand in the way of progress are you.
Maybe the BBC should make a program especially for you, in which they blow up caravans for 60 minutes and snigger at the camera profusely. Hammond can present it, because he has lots of experience doing kids TV.

It's called top gear and its enjoyed by many more than just those on the internet who find it too low brow.
Jeremy even warned this one was an arse around. No excuse for watching then coming here to moan this week.
The angry director and Hammond's sound effects were amusing, but a shame we didn't get to see the real ST.

The boredom set in when they started making that silly film. They lost the plot with that one tonight.

I believe that was a real Focus ST they used...not yet available for purchase.
Jeremy just said that it wasnt to cover it up![]()
The new ST isn't a 5 pot, it's a 250bhp 2 litre 4-pot with a turbo.
It also gets a limited slip differential to keep it competitive with the new Megane RS, the new Astra OPC/VXR, etc.
no I really don't think it was, it sounded pants, a real 5 pot st would have some real grunt to it.
It isn't hard to swap over a few panels to make it look like one.

As said..it's not longer a 5 pot..plus it was more than 'a few panel changes'. Bigger brakes behind the wheels plus the centre exit exhaust gives it away.
Not so easy to just swap around, those parts.
