Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

Yes that's why they're upset they have an extra 5 to do now. The excuse is there's no reason to do clan operations, but where are they?

I don't think this will ever get fixed they're saying none of the community submissions so far show the issues.
 
To be fair, each prestige in MW3 is much easier than all previous. Took much less than a day each one, and thats just going on TDM.

I remember MW2 taking a good 2 days each time, so roughly 20 days game play. Blops was just under a day for me, but there was 15 of them, I think I got them done in around 12 days.

MW3 (if I still actually played it!) wouldn't had been much more than 7 days to get to top. It's still a pretty crappy move if you've worked hard to unlock every single thing.
 
It just goes to show how bad the compensator is in this I just had a quick go on Modern Warfare it's almost amazing how you can just jump on there and start killing with burst weapons via default classes, but that's how it should be.
 
After all this talk of an extra 20 levels of prestige I went on youtube and had a look to see if anyone had unlocked all the emblems. The reason being is that I still have not unlocked any on the far right of the first page or the left of the second page and having been 10th for a while now and unlocking a few challenges I thought it was odd that all these were still locked.

Anyway take a look at this vid and the apparent emblems that are yet to be unlocked.


I don't know what they are but they seem like a whole new 10 levels to unlock but with the extra 10 on the pc just being roman numerals it makes no sense, so weather they are fake or not who knows.

That's exactly why i've got rid of this game. It's utter BS. If this years version(Black Ops 2 probably) has it in then i'll be giving it a miss.
 
That seems to be the trend even MW2s lag compensation is noticeably more pronounced after playing it. I was going to beta test MW3 again, but once it loaded up the mere thought of it had me nudging the power button.
 
5 extra prestiges? ****ers, this was going to be the first COD that I might be able to "complete" as I'm not on it 24/7 like some freaks :p

Surely the majority of people are against this?
 
I think the main people upset are those who only wanted to get to 10th and those sat on 10th getting all the golden guns and emblems etc..

Im not fussed because I like prestieging to keep the game interesting. Im sure the innevitable double xp weekends will come soon enough when the non elite get the map packs and hopefully they might introduce some special event playlists like 24/7 nuketown in BLOPS though I didnt play MW2 enough to know if this is more a Treyarch kinda thing..
 
Well yer, I'm currently half way through 5th but I can't wait to finish as I want to do challenges etc. I'm working my way to something I'm effectively back at the beginning again with 10 prestiges to go again! I'd probably still eventually do it by the time the next game comes along but that's no the point! :p
 
It's ridiculous that the degree to which you get shot round corners in this is about the same as being sniped by an Aussie in previous instalments.
 
There goes a controller from raging on Black Ops, I get killed by the same kid 5 times in a row with a 0.2KD, just how is that even possible.

I didn't mean "respect" in the sense that people will be impressed or think you are a good player, I just mean that it's recognised as a decent achievement to get 10th.

And I don't get why people criticise those who spend a lot of time on the game. If they enjoy it and they're not harming anyone then why do they deserve criticism? I get so many messages such as "no life ***** go get a girlfriend you virgin" or similar. These people genuinely think they're better than me just because they spend less time on a game. It's pathetic their ego is that much in need of a boost. If someone chooses to spend all day doing X who am I to judge them (unless X = killing puppies).
