I saw the article on engadget for this and got a bit excited, then I read the specs :p

I can see it being cheap though, possibly a competitor to the kindle fire price wise?

i hope its cheap otherwise it looks to me like they are re-hashing old tech with new software and design.
im a bit shocked there hasnt been more of a upgrade towards quad core and better resolutions.

Why does this even have a new name? Its just a tab plus with ICS; which the tab plus will get anyway. Mediocre at best.

I think samsung is pushing its luck abit. Apple already had a go at them for the 10.1, now there showing this off. Risky move

My next Tablet is going to be either a Sub £300 7" Tegra 3 Quad Core with 1280 x 800 running ICS or I'll just buy an iPad 3, Would prefer a decent Android though as I already Have a iPhone 4 (which I love)

I do hope that is not an ear piece speaker at the top? Who in their right Mind would use that like a phone, talk about going back to the 80's

1ghz processor of an unnamed variety? 1000x600 res? It's gonna be cheap, probably a competitor to other cheap ICS tablets coming out soon. Personally, i'd skip this in favour of a Tegra3 variant in Q2 this year.

if you have an iPhone 4 then it doesnt make sense to get an Android... you have already invested in a different ecosystem. Stick to Apple for a seamless experience, just as i'd reccommend anyone who has already invested in Android stick to Android.

He obviously meant the original 7" tab... this is not a rehash of the 7.0 Plus, it's a budget successor to the original.

Richdog it's a dual core processor and why would it not be the same price as the tab plus?

I know he meant the original tab but why is he comparing it to that when I clearly said plus. His mistake.
