Street Fighter V.S. Tekken

from what i seen, it looks like sf4 with launchers and chain combos. looking forward to have a go on it and see what its like.

I'm getting this on the 360 and Vita. I'll have to learn how to play FG's on a pad until I mod my Vita to accept arcade stick inputs (easy to do, but there are warranty issues).

Finally will be able to play FG's after over 6 months without!

Mod your vita with an arade stick? Any links to show this? Do you think playing this on the Vita will help your game on the console versions?

And.. er.. FG?

Links? lol... it's been years since I've followed any guides!

I'll be doing this myself, installing a ribbon cable port to plug an arcade stick in. Playing this on the vita will be fun, and allow me to play online while I am working away, staying in hotels (as I have been doing for over 7 months straight now, so zero FG time for me :().

Playing the Vita will help me to learn combos, test this gem crap on the go and force me to learn the tekken characters for the 4 button input.

Cav - FG's = fighting games?

See... leave the genre for a year and see what happens :D

You gonna be able to see all the action on the small Vita screen?

Incidentally, you seem to spend a lot of times in hotels... what do you for a living or is that question best left unanswered :D ?

I work in computer forensics.

The vita screen is a great size IMO.

Yes but what I mean is you're gonna have to be pretty close up to it and have the arcade stick on your lap or table infront of you... just trying to envisage an optimal sitting posture withe the Vita within reasonable viewing distance, if you know what I mean.

when I saw cr.mk into st.hk I immediately started thinking about roundhouse loops. The wallbounce will probably put an end to that possibility rather quickly.

Latest build currently being played at WGC ahead of the tournament this weekend.

Up until I saw that video I thought with Pandora mode you had to sacrifice your character who was currently fighting and then your back up would come in with pandora activated but it looks like Akuma was fighting and sacrificed Ryu who was in back up for the Pandora power up. At first I thought it wasn't the same combo but looking at the timer etc, looks like it is.

Was also watching a live stream for this that machinima ran guys like Maximilian, Mike Ross and Gootecks were there and Max was doing some crazy stuff with Ken/Kazuya. He was saying in terms of damage you're definitely rewarded more for keeping your opponent grounded with hitstun than in the air for juggles. I kind of found that strange considering there has been a lot of emphasis on launchers etc.

Ah... Yes you're right about Pandora. The timer skips 3 seconds. They did something with Ryu to cause the wallbounce then Ryu activated Pandora, Ryu dies and Akuma is in Pandora mode because of it.

So they are two separate clips, st.hk probably doesn't wallbounce, I did think that would be weird.

Theoryfighter, hooooo!

1 bounce per combo.

There are 3 ways to hit confirm into Pandora btw.

Drunzer the DERP l m h h(launch) into DERP basic juggle into DERP super are designed for scrubs to be able to do flashy stuff too ala MvC3 lmhs sj mmh super. Links in SFxT are FAR more damaging than the dial-a-combo's.

Edit: Ryu's donkey kick causes wallbounce.

lol, I wasn't sure if I was right or not but yeah I also found it weird that his roundhouse would've done a wallbounce. Kree you're definitely right about links, watching that stream last night really opened my eyes.

Have you lot not played it yet?

SFxT? I live in Northern Ireland, seems we're not very high on Capcom's fight club venue list. As much as I would like to do a bit of travelling to event likes this, I'm getting married in November so pretty much every penny I get goes toward that so I just haven't got the money unfortunately. In 2013 though I plan on going to some of these events though, a few tournaments too.

dont know if anyone saw the machinima stream yesterday, but rolento looks so sick! i think i am going to main him and steve when the game is out:)

looking forward to some crazy tag team and scramble mode madness too!
