???
You just let the other cat come into your cats home and let it eat his food?
This other ginger cat regulary comes in through our cat flap and eats whatever is going. I've got a staywell catflap but this big cat just knocks the door off it's hinges.
So my cat has been sleeping outside some nights or hiding under a chair.
So he's being terrorized literally.
How would it be stealing?
Are you not doing the responsible thing if a stray cat is comming into your home and no-one has a clue who the owner is?
i.e Catching it inside your home and handing it over to the authorities/a shelter?
The cat could belong to someone hence my cautious warning.

So?
If an animal is coming into your house surely you have the right to catch it and hand it into the authorities?
Seems far more reasonable to me than knocking on everyones door in a mile radius.
It's not like you are stealing or harming the animal if you are handing it over to the correct people.
