"Super Administrator Account"

Waits for "help my PC is infected" or "help my Windows won't load" thread.

I'm a pretty advanced user, I would never consider using the administrator account.

I do a lot of modding, and most tools require you to run things as administrator. so to me it cuts some time. I thought about security. I'm usually very careful, can't really remember the last time I had malware.

I guess I can put up with not having it if there's a strong probability of getting one, but to be honest I don't really see myself getting one. What are the chances do you think? I run MSE which would help, but I'm not an expert in security.

about once an hour. Although it doesn't seem like much, it gets pretty tedious after a while. Why does it seem so odd that somebody would want to cut out inputs?

what do you mean by modding? if its modifying games then you probably just need to adjust folder security/permissions rather than running everything as admin.

well I guess it depends on how many different parts of windows you mod, if its making lots of adjustments to the same things then the same permissions adjustments would apply, ie reduce permissions required to edit the skins files and then the programs which edit them wont need to be run as admin.

Hmm, maybe re-thinking now. As somebody said, I've given myself full control of the files I'm usually editing and it's working fine without having to run it as an administrator, guess I don't need control over everything :D

Thanks anyway guys.
