Just started playing CoH..... its epic

I played this on my house mates PC when it cam out, I need an older game to play whilst my gfx card is off being fixed. Anyone know what it runs like on 2500k onboard graphics?

It is a brilliant game. Picked it up on Steam when it was about £5 for the original game and both expansions. I think I'm on about mission 9 or 10 of the first campaign. Really should play more, but the missions take so long to complete.

Yep, brilliant game, been playing forever and it doesn't get old. Never really completed the stories but the online play is amazing. 1v1 automatch and 4v4 basic for fun.

tales of valor is a good expansion for the extra mp units u get, some are great such as the hellcat's stealth but i still prefer the m10's mines to the other scout car u get.

I play this a lot, probably more than any other game atm. Got pretty good too, loving playing 2v2 automatch. Ranked around 130th as 2v2 Brits too. Racked up nearly 900 hours on my steam copy

Picked the 1st game up 2nd hand for 2 quid, downloaded the patches and wants me to log in. The key has already been used, anyone know if they are fairly cheap anywhere? If not I'll stick to unpatched single player.

Wait for steam sales. Can normally get all 3 for £5.

Yep, its fantastic, 88's are brilliant! 3 in a short dispersed row can hold back pretty much anything.

Playing the campaign is one thing, but playing the skirmishes against the comp or mp is another level!

I need to get more practise in on the Axis side of things, Allies (American) I kinda grasp now.

Just need better unit control with the Axis as theres a lot of tech upgrading and unit upgrading

so really slows me down

True, I find on a map where you have lots of time (and fuel) and can hold in place.... the Axis are my preferred faction, as they just get stronger and stronger until you're producing 3vet PzKpfw 4's or Panthers in no time at all (Officer bonus) and just smashing Shermans all over the place.

If the map is more of a light resources, infantry heavy map then the Americans tend to be better I find.

If anyone wants to add me on Steam I'm well up for some CoH - prefer to play with humans against AI, but that might change.

theres a very hardcore community still here, about 5000 ppl play online me and a few mates go on most nights for a 4v4. mostly results in nerd rage.

I really need a good, large 'chokepoint' map. I love turtling and beating back wave after wave of enemies. Any recommendations?
