Hello,

Earlier tonight my server was griefed by safron414 and sunlitsix, I find this is rather bad practice of one of your server admins who you trust but yet goes around greifing others servers. I have no problem with this as it takes me only a few seconds to roll back the damage using LB. But I find their behaviour rather childish esspecialy as Maxi was "cheering them on" maxi also tried to connect to the server but is banned.

You posting a random image really doesn't prove anything, not to mention your track record of "hilarious japes" like this.

Why not email me an SQL dump of the LogBlocks proving your point? If you can provide the couple of hundred records would corroborate your story immediately (rather than in however long it would take you to doctor them) then I'll think about taking you a little more seriously.

edit2: You've got about an hour before I stop even entertaining the idea that this isn't one of your usual childish "things". Even if I do get the log files I'll be combing them very carefully so good luck if you're trying to cook them :)

I asked for LogBlock dumps, which you have failed to deliver.

This is becoming more farcical by the moment.
 
The reason I cannot provide logblock dumps is becouse I do not know my way around phpMyadmin. If you could tell me where to go then I can send them, I have always used the in game command for lb.

Would it be easier if I whitelisted you on the server so you can see yourself?
 
I'm sorry but I don't have the time or the inclination to teach you how to admin your own server.

If you had any sort of proper proof then I would certainly take it on board, although how players behave on other servers is not something we officially take into account when we decide on who is banned or whitelisted on here. That said, administrators are expected to act with decorum in general.

I will certainly be having a word with Safron and Maxi regarding this incident but I imagine that is as far as these things will go unless you pull something amazing out of your hat.

This is unfortunately a case where your reputation precedes you.

Even if the pixels match up it is not hard to falsify a player login or to even do an easy copy-replace of data within the database.

The reason I asked for a mysql dump of the relevant bits is that it would be a lot of work to falsify those kind of records in such a short amount of time and I would take that into account during my investigation.

The fact that this data hasn't appeared within a reasonable amount of time makes it harder for me to take things seriously.
 
I'll look at any further replies in the morning.

I'd ask that people not form snap judgements until I've looked at things properly. I am taking this event seriously.
 
Wait, so according to Fred, two of our members, possibly three went on his server and griefed.
I don't want to seem like a ******** here, but surely we should be concerned with what happens on this server, not what linktart members do on other servers?
Just my thoughts.

We should certainly be concerned with what happens on the LinkTart server, but at the same time, I would not expect the admins on the server I play on to go and trash another server regardless of who runs that server.
As FT said, I'm waiting to see if there is any real proof before passing comment on those players.

There is no way we can say if was defo done.

It is easy to change player name on a server if the mod is there for it
it gets done a lot for RP type servers. There are so many ways to do this sort of thing
that this can also make the logs look genuine even when a dump is taken.

As it is FT looking into this i know he will look at it fairly.
