Just went to sign up for the Beta and then it said "Windows only" And I've only got my Mac at Uni :/

Signed up half an hour ago and still no confirmation email.

Second guessing if I typed in the right email address now, but I'm pretty sure I did though.

Its just taking longer than everyone esle.

I wouldnt worry too much, leave it till the morning then go for the "resend email" option. Remember you apparently have an equal chance whether you signed up in hour 1 or hour 48.

when I click send, i'm getting a 'a network error has occurred...Can't send system information' i've added it to my allowed list in firewall setting as well

Finally got the confirmation e-mail after about 1 hour and 30 minutes.

So yeah, don't worry if it takes a while for them to reply to you.

From what I've heard they're planning bi-weekly beta events, increasing the amount of people participating with each event, this is to stress the servers, including bug reporting and such.

Wouldn't worry about not being able to join in the first few events because theres always chance of entering one of the later ones.
