Do these come with the 20 pound cash back voucher? AMD have extended the cash back offer apparently. (As per your place of previous employment)

Would make a killer rendering rig for the price this FX8.

It's just an FX8120 guaranteed to run as an 8150.
Doesn't come pre-oced.

So it's..hand picked 8120s that are good overclockers?

So surely they've been used at some point?

I don't understand how they can guarantee that:confused:

Edit:
Take off the £10 for deus ex (Steam price atm) and it's only £119 ;o

I'm quite tempted to try out a bd setup at this price (inc cashback). I seem to have tempted fate here and my q6600 is on its way out so the timing's right. I know the 2500k route probably makes more sense but I'm strangely drawn back to amd after all these years with intel.

is this cpu any better than a 2500k ? What are the pros and cons of getting this instead of a 2500k?
Reason Im asking is a friend wanted me to put up a rig for him.

I feel sorry for retailers having to be creative in writing their product description to make a poor product looks like a decent purchase. But hey...I guess that's what marketing is all about?

Just 2 weeks ago you guys were selling this package at £161.99 what a difference a fortnight makes ah?

I have to say an overclocked 8120 for £130 (remember AMD's cash back) is a steal, I know it's not as good as a 2600K but if your a gamer its not a millions miles away besides a video card is far more important these days.

The only problem being, the people who are most likely to buy this CPU are people with AMD systems already...upgraders....except...there old CPU is faster than the one they would be buying ?
