Medal Of Honour: Warfighter

I DID play bf, hence the comments, the modern warfare bandwagon is getting old now, same **** different box.

Very true but that doesnt mean it will = rubbish. Now going on the previous game I highly doubt it will be great we can can always hope :)

Now maybe Respawn will deliver something new when they release their game in 2013. Lets see if they can start a whole new MW revolution ...again lol

Half Life 2 and Team fortress 2? :p Left 4 Dead too.

Yeah but those are totally different types of shooters set in totally different environments. Medal of Honor and Battlefield are both modern combat team-based shooters with a single player component.

Think a couple of months ago they said they were doing that, turning bf into a yearly deal.

Way of the world with the marketing hype that surrounds these types of games, people buy into it like sheep. Ea ain't about to give up a truck full of money anytime soon:)

They said it would be impossible to crank out a bf game yearly (though after bf3 i dont see why), seems MOH will be likely to take that mantle.

I quite liked the last one. I rarely play SP, so only really played the MP but I thought it was a good shooter. Very intense at times.

They will have to pull something special out of the bag to sell many though as I expect the BF fan club will remain and it is only MW fans that may be tempted as that is the target market.

Ahh you were were right there Gerrad, glanced the article the wrong way round.

Cheerfully say thats a good thing, even though iv'e not bought in on bf3 yet...leaving it a year like i did bf2, patches, balances ect...

Moh...liked the first one... more of the same of anything looses it's appeal, moh was a big thing when it came out, did lots of stuff no other game had.

Last one was decent but I couldn't quite see the point of it in the wake of bad company 2. It was like a inferior version of BC2 and whenever I played it I just felt I'd rather be playing its big brother.

I'm not bothered at all if there's more WW2 games, Modern Warfare games, whatever era but they don't seem to make anything innovative in them, it's the same single player campaign on rails, same multiplayer game modes, no learning curve like CSS, RO, DoD. Just a shame these games seem to be getting pumped out with no love. Other than the graphics and animations BF3 was a disgrace compared with what could have been done.
