Rayman Origins

Played this on 360 it is sooooooooooo good. Im glad its coming to PC

Same, been playing this with a friend on his 360 when I got to his for some beers and it's such a good laugh, especially when you get the ability to punch/slap and you just end up giving each other cheeky slaps now and again :p

Really glad it's coming to the PC... and couldn't really care any less than it's Ubisoft.

Seems some will write the game off due to it being published by Ubisoft.

I remember the first rayman game back on the PS1, band land lol what a level that was, manic at times.

I'll pick this up on PC for sure... Anyhow its DRM free ;)

Grateful Ubisoft paid Valve to force this 843Mb download out to 40m Steam accounts  was going to blind buy as I heard good things about this from the console crowd but after trying this forced demo will avoid it.

Nowhere as good as Rayman1-3 which is why its so cheap (you can preorder for £16 on some websites). Now I understand why this failed to sell much on consoles its simply rubbish but good old Ubisoft for dragging it to PC when they cannot break even on consoles

What's even more annoying is the demo has no quit option

BUY NOW <- that's the quit option

up yours ubisoft :p

Alt+F4 forces it but TBH even if Ubisoft gave me this game for free for wasting the bandwidth I would never ever play its just a newer looking Rayman1 (which is still excellent on PC as are parts 2 & 3).

I knew there had to be some reason why it was coming so suddenly to PC DRM free & very cheap after they cancelled it last year now I know why ;)

If anyone is thinking of buying this get Trine 1 + 2 from Steam instead they are 2 almost perfect PC 2D platform games & look very pretty as well ;)

Its £20 because its been released before bit like Alan Wake.

will wait for a few reviews, but I absolutely loved the original on my ps1 :)

lol @ £20, and the demo does not even support controllers.

I hope that's not being serious.... Seriously no controller support? Its a sodding platformer, not a fps shooter. And its a game kids would like to play, they would much prefer a game controller over a keyboard and mouse..

Well, thats ruined it if true..

And, forcing us to download a demo that some don't even want - surprised Valve agreed to this. Thats simply not on, wasting bandwidth like this for Steam users... I'm actually quite shocked, UBISoft have little to no regard for PC gamers, just when I thought they couldn't get any lower they do this..

It's a bug. Valve posted this on thier forums.
The demo is not supposed to appear on everyone's game list. We're currently working on a fix for this.

Looks like they have deleted the demo while fixing it, the download link doesn't work for me.

As for the no controller support then that is just stupid. This game is perfect for contollers and i'll probably pick it up cheap second hand on my ps3 if the final version doesn't support them.

Was going to buy this for my 360 or PS3 but I picked it up for cheap on my PS Vita. One of the best 2D platformers I’ve played in years and I do LOVE my 2D platformers. But might pick this up for cheap on the PC too.

The reason why this game didn’t do well is because it was release at the wrong time, in November. Rolling off the back of Batman released in October, then November with Modern Warfare 3, Assassin's Creed Revelations, Super Mario 3DS, followed by Mario Kart 7 in early December. This game never stood a chance of being noticed against those games. If it came out early 2012 then the sales and chart situation would have been different.

I don't understand why it didn't do well on the 360?

It got great scores but I ghuess the current generation of gamers just have no idea about Rayman...
