Well after a few rough mornings this week, it suddenly occurred to me; I have a post night out routine.

Every morning after I've been out on the pop I'll buy two bottles of mango rubicon and anything filthily greasy to eat. Usually involving bacon.

This past week or so, McDonald's breakfast has been a favourite.

After drinking/eating the acquired rubicon and filthy food, I'll lie in my bed for about an hour doing absolutely nothing. Not even sleeping. Just laying there with my eyes closed.

Hangover cured.

What do you do?

There's about 20 threads on this allready, but anyway. You need to realise what effect alcholo has on the body and try to rectify them, something's you can't do anything about, but plenty you can.

Fat
sugar
salt
water
carbs
caffeine

The basic things you need to correct your body after a heavy session.
You blood sugar levels will be low so you need sugar for instant boost and carbs for longer lasting affects.
You need salt as you have wasted loads sweating and peeing.
Water due to dehydration
Fat as your stomach PH level will now be very high it's why people get a dodgy stomach.
Caffeine as you haven't slept properly

Orange juice/lemonade (50:50)

If you feel sick in the morning, just get it over and done with. Otherwise, you'll just re-digest it all and feel terrible!

Trebor Extra Strong Mints & loads of water are another good one.

Lay there all day feeling sorry for myself.

This is also excellent, but painful

Today it was coffee, which I then spilt all over my desk, then it was another coffee which went inside me. Something to eat, anything stodgy really, I had macaroni cheese today and lots of water.

Or, if it is appropriate I'll hair of the dog. I was driving this morning so couldn't do that.

i am one of the lucky ones, havnt ever had a hangover

You're not drinking enough.

Bananas ! mainly for getting rid of the shakes. Apparently bananas are high in Potassium and this is perfect for the morning after a night on the pop twinned with several glasses of water

I don't really get hangovers. When I do though, I usually just have some thing sugary, then something greasy and I'm good to go. NEVER the other way around though.

I'll never forget the day I bought a huge fry up from the local cafe and ate one mouthful before pushing my plate away. I later on had a can of KA Grape (noms) and then really fancied the fry up I had abandoned. It was a sad day.
