Make Bradford British TV Program

It did happen, we're subcontracted into a call centre, he told me that the company that is taking over basically said, hire "local English" people only, whether my boss interpreted wrong or not, he said they weren't all that happy when they visited the Bradford office.

As we're subcontracted in it makes no difference to me, I am white/english....well half welsh actually lol
 
Meh, if you guys don't believe me fine, I just thought it was interesting given this thread.

Still don't get how skin colour makes you any less capable of watching TV.... I mean working in security
 
Can well believe it. Seen it but for other races. Place i worked for refused point blank to employ any polish people due to the one they did hire turning up for work, collecting a brand new merc van then driving across to france to sell it.
 
A minority of minorities appear to be happy to refer to caucasian people with the adjective "white". E.g **** off you white *******.

A minority of caucasian people are happy to refer to a minority person with the adjective "brown/black". E.g. **** off you brown/black *******. Notice I'm intentionally not using the historically racist N or P terms here.

Who is the more racist person here? Neither.

I'd bet a months salary that the caucasian person has a MUCH higher probability of getting hauled in front of a court than the minority person. Even though they have had the exact same outburst.

Is this acceptable? No.

i know a few bosses that wont employ muslims cos they are always out preying

its there choice i suppose but its totally impossible to get done for it cos they just say "i thought the other guy would fit in with our staff better"

the discrimination laws dont work

plus... what about teh other way round

what a bout an indian restraunt why should they employ white people

if someone turned me down for a job for being white if i was in thier country say the middle east or somewhere, i wouldnt cry about it and make a fuss.

i would just accept thats the way it is and get a job with somone who liked white people

Wembley? It's a toilet of the worst kind. Filthy streets, cheap tat shops with ghetto housing. Used to be nice though. Until. Yea well.

Same with Kilburn. Changed so much the last 10 years. Only places in my area that still holds up is Hampstead, West Hampstead, Golders Green, North Finchley and in a way the Finchley Road area. It's also no secret that you pay through your head to live around here. It's worth it imo.
 
Although he went off on one at the end, I can't help but think that Mohammed did have a good point with his perception of "British Culture". He's constantly seeing the worst side of it being a taxi driver. Shame really as I think it's given him a bit of a chip on his shoulder.

Thats not british culture is a load of retards getting smashed and doesn't represent me in anyway shape or form.

It seems to be a rather prevalent image of "Brits" around the world, in all honesty. Much more so than one of stiff upper-lip, tea-drinking people who like to talk about the weather a lot. :p
