Huge tyre braking distance test

I didn't know Wanli was a real tyre brand, I thought it was a joke tyre that Fox had invented!

It's a great collation of information and should be doing jon-'s advertising revenue a world of good :p But there's still a large amount of rubber that's still not been tested. The list is heavily skewed towards people who drive from A to B and what the best tyre is for that. I'd like to see some proper tests aimed at driving enthusiasts and bin off the dross and look at what overseas markets get that we don't, but where's the market in that? :(

There's actually a WORSE tyre than a linglong!!

Five of them in fact!!

:D

Prob come out of the same factory.

I live in hope that a Chinese product researcher comes across 'Ditchfinder' all over the place and then notices it's not Trademarked

Michelin must be a bit upset that there us a Barum and a Nexen above their Primacy :D That pesky Hankook has popped up right next to the top as well.

A single tyre performance parameter doesn't tell you much about the overall ability; something great at stopping might be woeful under aquaplaning for instance, or it might wear out in no time or be horrifically noisy.

Not surprised about the Nokian, I have heard great reports about that tyre on the continent.

Certainly better than the ZV5's I have on my car right now :)

Would be interested to see comparative performance numbers between AD08 and other tyres.

Was just thinking this too, track focus tyres in particular like the 595rsr and r888 for example. Would love to know real world tests between those and performance road tyres.

Thats because 99% of the time you press the brake and the car stops. You've never crashed into anything when stopping therefore you've not had a problem. Doesn't stop them being comparatively turd with only the glow of low price to make you feel fuzzy :p
