Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

I'll say 'Christ i've blinked , where did the last 10 years go?' .. because thats where the last 10 years went

watching the news about japan and how well they have done after 11 years since the tsunami.

watching the news about japan that after 11 years since the last tsunami the new one wasnt held back by the new sea defences and that their wasnt much that could have stopped this new 40meter high tsunami..

I like this thread because it just shows how many of us drift through life. Almost every great thing we have today, every invention that has shaped our every day needs or wants has been down to a plan of some description.I think this is a great eye opener and for people like ,myself who don't yet have a plan, this indicates how important it is if somebody wants positive changes in their life. You are in control!!

At worst, in a well paid, comfortable job with tonnes of friends and lots of fun stuff every week.

At best, be pretty settled into a serious relationship with mystery girl of my dreams *swoon* - cherry on the cake!

Let's hope it matches my optimism :)

Hopefully in a place where I can fulfill my creative ambitions through my own funding. The start of the beginning of my 'real work'. Alternately I'll be a crazy artist who is drinking and drugging himself into oblivion. 10 years is a bigger change from 20->30 than 30->40. Anything could happen... And I love that!

I'm not sure what will happen to me next year, never mind 10 years.

Am I bothered? No.

I don't see life to be lived like that.

My plan from the start of college (16) will have ran out at the end of this year hopefully. I'll have the qualifications and experience I've been working towards for the past 8 years and now I need to start thinking about where I want to go in the long term. Either way, I'm hoping the past 8 years have put me in a place where I won't have problems finding work ever again. Fingers crossed!

In 10 years I'll either be:
1. Where I am now, but on about twice the salary.
2. In a completely different job, but one I love and a crap salary where I need to live day to day.
3. Running my own business.
4. In industry on about twice the salary I am on now.

I'd hope to have kids and a hot wife by then. I definitely couldn't tell you which bit of the world I'll be living in!
