Tesco Petrol prices in you area pls help

They can sell whatever they want at whatever price they want, your letter to the manager will end up in the bin to be honest.

They could have it at £1.80 a litre, and no one could do anything about it. It's the way of the world.

If I don't get a response then I'll write to to CEO.

Asda's petrol director Andy Peake said: "Once again, Asda leads the way in saving drivers money. And unlike others our price cuts are across the board. That's why no one will pay a premium for their petrol to fund lower prices in another town round the corner."

:p I am sitting here laughing at the fact that you wrote to the local store manager over a 3p a difference in fuel costs! And I am laughing even harder at the fact that you will write to the CEO if you dont get an answer!

I can't tell if your serious to be honest or just bored.

The letter took me 5 mins to write.

As a tesco cunstomer I feel hard done by and want answers.

Last time I complained to tesco they sent me out a 100 quid power washer. and 75 quids worth of Vouchers.

Its a genuine question and I want answers.

I complained to Viewsonic and they sent me out a new monitor and a cheque for £150

I contacted consumer direct after IBM refused to repair my laptop 1 month out of warranty. IBM repaired my laptop and gave me a new chassis and free ram upgrade.

Its hardly taxing creating a letter lol

I do nearly 2000 miles a month in my car and fuel cost's are big on my agenda.

The main culprit is fuel tax, no need to be a **** about it by writing to the CEO over something that trivial.

I do over 2000 miles a month, and don't drive for economy or whinge about the price. I fill up, and get on with it. It's life, it's expensive and hammering Tesco with letters is going to change nothing.

I expect you'll get a generic apology, you won't get vouchers I don't think. Why should they give you anything? If you don't like the price, shop elsewhere. /end thread

You feeling hard done by over 3p a litre?

I spend around £400 a month on fuel and I wouldn't even take a second look at a difference of 3p a litre to be honest.

Why dont you drive the 10 miles and get your fuel and shopping there then?

Exactly my point. I hope everyone else stops getting fuel at the new store and gets it from elsewhere Like I will.

The tesco 10 miles away that is on route or Morrisons

Its the principle. I know Tesco don't offer a fixed price nationally. But their greed in this instance sickens me.

Mind you, at 2000 miles a month I'ld be using LPG!

No...Its the same price as total up the road.

Doesn't mean anything, you are just expecting the new tesco to be cheaper than the other, convenient, station.

You never know, part of the planning might have been to do with not undercutting the total.
