Video Editing

I've got some .MOV files (Video: 720P HD H.264/AVC1 video codec, 1280 x 720 30fps .mov) that need cropping (only need certain bits of video), sections of audio adding such as bleeps (not an entire audio track), and to add an intro to the front and text etc through out.

I've tried Avidemux and Wax 2.0... not having any luck with either of them and left royally pee'd off with video "editing".

Just wonder what you guys use / recommend, ideally free.

Not quite sure about ideal but have you considered some slightly less legit software?

Could try to the avs video editor, i think its free

If it's just simple editing you are after, would movie maker not do the job?

Vegas Movie Studio is only £20. not a bank breaker and is nice and easy to get on with.

I'm after something exactly like this! I tried the free download (the only difference is it's watermarked) wish I could just buy that one product instead of £50 for loads I don't want..

Recommend Vegas as well, it's really easy to start using and is only £29~ for the basic Movie Studio 11.
